About House District 41

The new District 41—drawn with new boundaries after the 2022 redistricting process—is home to some of Louisville’s most dynamic neighborhoods. Our district includes Clifton, Deer Park (where Emma and I live!), Tyler Park, Belknap, Strathmoor Manor, Cherokee Triangle, Irish Hill, and parts of Hikes Point.

We also have excellent parks, schools, restaurants, and people. All are welcome.

Our schools include Atherton, Highland Middle, Bloom Elementary, Kentucky School for the Blind, Visually Impaired Preschool Services, St. X, Assumption, Breckenridge-Franklin Elementary, Jefferson County Traditional, Collegiate, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Stephen Martyr School, The de Paul School, St. Agnes, Audubon Elementary, Hayfield Montessori School, Hawthorne Elementary, Boys & Girls Haven, Meredith-Dunn School, Klondike Lane Elementary. And we’re home to two Universities – Bellarmine and Sullivan.

We have some of Louisville’s most important community gathering places: the Bardstown Road Corridor, Frankfort Avenue, Louisville Zoo, Louisville Nature Center, Tyler Park, Joe Creason Park, Cherokee Triangle, and Lakeside.

On the weekends, we host the Bardstown Road Farmer’s Market and the Douglass Loop Farmer’s Market. And three of Louisville’s biggest parties—the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Easter Parade, and Louisville Pride Festival—run right through the District.

If you haven’t visited us yet—come check us out. Or better yet, move in!
