Reproductive Rights
Kentuckians have made ourselves very clear: we do not want radical Republican legislators interfering with women’s medical decisions.
Just last year, we rejected their most recent attempt to strip women of their Constitutional rights permanently. Kentuckians from every corner of the Commonwealth stood up and came out to vote down Amendment 2.
Despite that win, we’re still living with the consequences of practicing medicine by government fiat. Women’s lives are put in danger while politicians and bureaucrats debate statutory construction. Women who need reproductive healthcare shouldn’t also need a lawyer on retainer and a GoFundMe page to raise money to travel to the nearest blue state.
It’s time for the General Assembly to listen to Kentuckians and remove themselves from women’s medical decisions. If elected to represent you in Frankfort, I will fight to protect women’s right to choose.
